If you have ever been to a trade show, you know they can be “over the top” when it comes to the way companies display their wares. But a music convention has the added benefit of not only sights, but sounds – and lots of them! The NAMM Show is held every January in Anaheim, California and it features every musical instrument manufacturer in the world along with the latest technology in amps, recording equipment and accessories. While it is dominated by the drum and guitar industry, there is no shortage of brass and woodwind instruments and, of course, there is sound emanating from every booth and display as people try out and demonstrate the latest and greatest. Pictures don’t do it justice as one really has to experience it live. But the other great thing about a good convention experience is the people. Relationships are the true currency of any good business and it is hard to match the national and international exposure one can get at a show like NAMM. Here are a few pics just to give you an idea. Enjoy and if you ever get the chance to attend (as it is not open to the general public) – GO! You will be amazed! [huge_it_gallery id=”2″]
