I am so glad I finally got to try these tinted ChopSavers! I've been a fan of the original for years, and now there's even more to love!
I got the 3-pack and purchased two Cherry Reds and a Wild Ginger. Next time, I will probably get more of the Wild Ginger because even though I love the way the Cherry Red looks on me, I think the Ginger is better for everyday use.
The tinted ChopSavers are of course different than the original in that they are more smooth/sleek as they go on and as they wear. I was surprised that the tint is a lot like lipstick tint and not so much like other tinted lip balms. So, blotting and reapplying to build color and comfort is best so as to avoid getting the pigment on your teeth etc. This is particularly true of the red color. It's really great because usually when you build color with regular lipstick, you are making your lips more dry but with ChopSaver Tinted you are always nourishing your lips.
I trust the Gosling brand to work hard sourcing true organic ingredients so I absolutely trust these new tints because unlike most lipsticks containing heavy dyes and chemical color agents, these colors are safe and natural!

Let me start this by saying- I saw advertisements for ChopSaver for months before I finally took the plunge. I struggle paying for shipping on things I can run down to a pharmacy for. However- I am so glad I finally coughed up the few dollars and splurged. I have an autoimmune disease that is treated with very harsh medicine and causes my skin to dry out. I am a "chapstick" connoisseur if you will. I have tried them all- at least all the ones in stores near me. The final tipping point for me was: no harsh chemicals, all natural ingredients. ChopSaver is officially the only lip balm I use. It smoothes on nice with a thick coating in one swipe. It is not sticky. There is zero flavor but the scent is citrusy and light. I use it about 3 times a day. Morning, late afternoon and before bed. My lips are smooth and soft. They are no longer painful, cracked or peeling. If you are picky about your lip balms, hate over applying, and want something that just works- this is it. I keep mine in my kitchen for easy access and so I don't lose it (it's that serious!) - and now I need about 5 more for the car, my purse, the junk drawer, the bathroom, etc.
Love the color, feel, it is long-lasting and fits perfectly in my travel size makeup pouch. I got two of every color- One for myself and one to gift. Speedy delivery and good customer service as well. Will definitely be purchasing again!
Because I play wet (trumpet player) and a lot of outdoor music festivals, Chopsaver has been a Lifesaver! And my wife loves it too!
I ordered one of each color. I have only opened the Dusty Rose. I love the subtle color and smoothness. I want to share with you that when I opened the tube there was a small hole in the middle of the stick. I initially thought it might be an opening for the balm to come out but saw that it was just a hole. As I have used the balm the hole has gotten smaller. I am giving the other 2 sticks to my sister and niece and will report back if theirs have similar holes.
